I've been watching the EverybodySwim video to train myself. I've practiced till "Everybodyswim, Step 5: Flutter kick (front)". Which is the next video to watch and practice? FYI......... I'm only trying to swim 'front crawl'.

@everybodyswim1 thanks. now, i float... next problem is breathing. i simply don't manage to take breath in that window period, so short :( and lose the balance too

i can hold my breath for about 30 second in the water right now.... but if i come out for breath and if i go back in again there's this pain in the back of my nose? also i find it hard to go back on my feet without sinking.....help

@3LeeLee3 About your pain in the back of your nose: it's because you let water enter into your nose. To fix this prob, just blow a little bit in the water with your nose in order to keep some air bubbles in your nose and not let water go inside.
About 'feet sinking": check my answer below (@akedarg). Just pratice and feel relax, I'm sure you will do it soon:)

I can float and move easily on back but my feet sinks on front crawl?!?
I am learning swimming ......sorry i should have posted here... when you flutter kick on back, do you kick (using force) forward like football or you kick (with force) back (i.e downward)? Common sense tells me, you push while the feet are going on so that it takes you up!! is it right?

@akedarg If your feet sinks it's maybe because of a wrong technic and a tension in your back. Just try to float and relax your back and your legs, you don't need to use strong flutter kick. Little flutter kick is perfect, it's totally possible to swim freestyle and backstroke without using your legs or just a little. About flutter kicks, yes forward like football.
