The saddest part of the mid 1970's highlight films, the damned music!! This is most likely what people listened to while they were high on acid!!!. Tech lost the last two games of the year, as always such high hopes only to prove over-rated at the end.

Sports highlights have definitely changed since then.

I attended this game. Earl Campbell played but pulled a hamstring and was out for the rest of the game.

@allpeeps4me Apparently you haven't been to Jones Stadium recently, it's nothing like that anymore

Great game. We chased Darrell Royal out of coaching that season. Love to see the UT fans still making excuses, it is in their blood. Billy Taylor, Larry Isaacs and Rodney Allison stil rock!!
-
This was a great game, but to be fair, this was an injury riddled Texas team that posted the worst record in Darrell Royal's 20 years at UT. Earl Campbell missed this game with an injury.

The Cincinnati Bengals drafted Tom Duniven, quarterback from Texas Tech in the 6th round in 1977. He is not the QB in the this video, who was he or do have incorrect information ?
-
I remember that Tech team well. Rodney Allison is the best QB Tech has ever had, IMO. I don't think he gets nearly enough appreciation in Lubbock for what he did.

hahahaa teh still has that same shit stadium

re: Old Tech films. I produced the Tech HL films from 1981 to 1994 and then did video season ticket in 1996 so I have the master tapes. The older films (before 81) we found, some in the dumpster at Tech, some in J.T. King's attic and some were in the possession of old Tech FB players.
