Put in a swimming pool! I had one there last summer. He was UNBELIEVABLY loud, and, as you can imagine, was not having much luck with the ladies. I was finally able to catch him with a leaf skimmer bag and transport him to a nearby pond. I couldn't believe that much noise could come from such a tiny little frog!!

lol thats cute i have 2 gray tree frogs:)) one male one female. i got eggs a week ago, the are unfertile. im still gonna wait a little while before taking them out of the tank, just in case i was wrong and they are just dropping late
you're so lucky. . .I hear them calling constantly in breeding months, I see their eggs and tadpoles often, I go out to find them (in my neighborhood of course) every day or every few days. Yet, I've only seen 3 adults. Two in one location at the same time, and one (incredibly luckily) on the side of my house. All in spring.I was not able to capture any of them though, and now more and more habitats are being destroyed for houses in this developement. Any other good tips for finding them bufo?

do they need lighting

@gecko378 you could give it to them, although mine were fine without it. They're indigenous to Ohio were it could be sunny and were one day and snow the next. I've been caring for grays for three years now and they don't need it. they're just as active.
