And yngwie malmsteen was playing a Stratocaster,and it didnt even sound like a fucking Stratocaster,Gary could make every guitar made for every kind of sound and music sound like it was sapose to sound.Just like earnhardt could get in any race car good or bad and win the race.Maybe Gary is up rocking with Dale Sr?

@bullat01 I figured as much. It sounds like a pre-CBS strat. What makes that era strat different, isn't the changes to the peghead, but Fender / CBS put polyuraphane finish, making it shinier, but dulling the sound. But, or course, you have to know how to play them, to make them sound good, as Gary makes that clear.
