@blodstainer while the land was divied up there wasn't much wealth to be won and most went to the church, there was mass from people who could read, and the war was because of three things 1)what iv'e already said and 2)the muslims wouldn't let christians in and 3)the muuslim rulers persecuted christians,

@hansolo226 Oh gosh, you ignorant man, FIRST of all, these crusades happened 1000-1200 (the big ones) and it wasn't JUST SOLDIERS the church promised the normal people a place in heaven if they killed Muslims, BUT the thing is that there were kings and noblemen riding into war as well, you think they cared about god? It wasn't about the bible, most people couldn't read at the time and the bible wasn't even widespread, it was about land and money, nothing else.
