_ Beating Time Director Odette Orr won the award at Boston for her first effort as a feature documentary director. The film tells the story of Avi Kremer, an Israeli and Harvard Business School graduate, who learns he has ALS. Beating Time follows his personal fight against ALS and his efforts supporting research. _
"What a wonderful surprise," Orr said of the award. "Thank you very much. This kind of response is what a filmmaker waits for at the end of the day. You know making this film was not easy. I was following Avi Kremer's battle against ALS for five years, a battle which has had enormous impact on science and the research of ALS."_CONTACT: JMT Films Distribution_Michael Treves_jmtreves@012.net.il _ www.JMTFilms.com
