Rylan Kaip of the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux gives a hockey fight lesson to Trevor Bruess from the Minnesota State University-Mankato Mavericks.

Unfinished business...During a February series last season in Ralph Engelstad Arena, fights broke out and Kaip and Trevor Bruess became tangled on the ice. Bruess proceeded to punch Kaip, who looked to the bench and asked if he could fight back. But because Kaip already had one fighting major that year, Sioux coaches told him no because he'd have to sit out two games. So Kaip continued to take blows from Bruess without retaliating.

  • I love your video!

  • why do they behave like animals? I can't see the common point between sport and violence

  • wow, wth? they get kicked for fighting? in our league (midget minor hockey) we just get 10 mins, not an ejection. GAY

  • I saw Bruess at the Washington Caps' prospect camp, and I have to say that yeah you're right, he is a douche

  • if you know anything about college hockey then maybe you could come up with a more intellegent statement. in college hockey they are required to where masks.

  • pussy

  • thats what i call JERSEYING.. sweet move, if we were in MINOR HOCKEY..

  • BS Give them a 5 minute major for fighting and thats it........ Fighting is part of the sport and no need to throw them out of the game for fighting.. and get rid of the cage and go with the half visor..

  • just on NHL until one of the players fighting falls down..then the referees stop them...

  • i dont get it are they aloud to fight in hockey?
