Idoltry is worshipping false Gods - we do not worship false Gods or statues - we worship Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

We worship on Sunday because the Apostles told us to - 1 Cor 16:2 - on the first day of the weel, when we met to break bread" First day of the week is ... Sunday.

Another reason is because Sunday is the day of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the Dead..

God bless and lead you to the fullness of the Truth.

The date of Christmas - does not take away from the celebration whether in the Bible or not - St Pauls tells us hold on to the traditions that I have taught you - and the Church is 2000 years of tradition Scripture.

We do not commit idoltry - it is in actually worshipping a statue that is wrong. Catholics have statues because they show what is beyond this earth - IT shows us images of Heaven, Our Lord and His Mother to help us remain focused on them!

@Jonbino We do not worship - She is the Mother of God. She is not God or equal to God. She is the Mother of Our Saviour - Her 'YES' to the divine word spoken to her enabled us. Remember we all have to say yes - Freewill? She chose to belong wholly to God. We do not worship her - we love her because Jesus loved her! She is Blessed among all woman!

Worshiping Mary as a diety is NOT of the Bible. Explained in commandment number one. Yeshua born on the 25th of December NOT in the bible. Clutching and bowing before idols IS in the Bible and is frowned upon, Commandment number two. Most importantly keep the Sabbath holy NOT Sunday. I am beginning to wonder who the blind one is now, I think, maybe, you are too. Tighten your faith in this sham of a religion as your superiors covet thy neighbor's 12 year old son.

The similarities are staggering.

This was just a virtual visual demonstration for some insight. It might not be 100% fact but its worth thinking about.
