  • Hi Sam. What do you suggest I should do if this stretch makes my knee hurt while performing it? I just relax my entire leg, not contracting quadriceps. Still, it feels as if my knee cap is pulled out of it's natural position. I suppose it has to do with my rectus femoris muscle? Although I know for a fact that my rectus femoris muscle is not particularly short at all. Thanks for your great videos.

  • @veela211,

You will need to stretch the quads prior to doing the movement. In addition, foam rolling your IT bands and the quads should help with warming the tissues to prep for the stretch.

  • Trainer from "Fitness Doctors" is misleading and should change the name. Any personal trainer (the guy sitting on the table, for example) should NOT use "doctor" in their company name, as the public will be intentionally mislead in thinking they have the potential of "curing" them because of the "doctor" in their company name. What a salesman. :(

As for Sam, I already knew this info but I certainly appreciate his clarity in speaking well, clearly, and short. Lots of good info in a short time!

  • @MrRonZaragoza,

  • As an LMT a lot of clients come in and have concerns of low back area pain. I usually do lots of stretching to help allevaite that, but like this very much. Thanks for posting this.

  • 1:56 tryin to grab his nuts

  • Oh my gosh, this has helped me so much. I just did this and it has enabled me to take full strides without that pull in my groin that I've had for so long. I'm going to start doing this every day to loosen that area up first thing in the morning. Thank you so much for providing this helpful video.
