I'm sorry but I don't understand sidecrusher....How many Wah's does Roger make? Oh and were you a better player in 1993? I can't see how you can criticise this pedal for bad tone. That's not a great judgement on this IMHO. It's all about character and beautiful tone this Wah. Perhaps you'd got it connected in front of the wrong pedals or something? I see that you've got a Vox Wah. Nothing wrong with those. Mayer has twice the sound range just not all at once.

You should know better you are a great player , this pedal is like all Mayers wahs , a pile of crap , I tried my friends for a few days ..I guess he was relieved !

it goes wah wow wacka and all that... BUT it has no flare no character ...no tone! just a banded processed unit like all his wahs , I remember having him custom make me one in 1993, it had one of those stupid blue Bourne pots in it , it cost 4x more than a crybaby , I used it for 10 minutes before reverting back to my Dunlop

Love the demo. Great playing. Amazing sounds. I've had one myself since 2004. There's not a huge amount of sweep all in one go, but it's just enough depending on what's going on. VERY use-able/versatile. The mix makes such an amazing difference. Great sound and no-one knows it's there until your foot moves.

If I may be a bit negative,...It's a shame that the delay's on all the time.. so I can't hear the notes sing out properly, and It can be good to leave the pedal in a static setting and play.
