The truth behind this footage is that the elephant had his knee caps shot with a rifle before howard shot it with a bow. That is why the elephant doesent charge. Do a little research and see how howard had many of his kills handicapped before he shot.

Excuse you, but we humans encroach upon the wild habitat and destroy it more so than the other way around. I feel sorry for the farmer, but you mentioned too bad on the ban of hunting, not the ban on defending your life if an elephant attacks. Big difference!

@Comp1337e For once are game animals not stupid nor am I into hunting down fellow human beings - for criminals there is the legal system.
And tell some poor african farmer that the growing number of beasts is great news - if you want to save em start a zoo, but don't kill him with your good intentions.

this man was no sporsman, he was showman, his success down to the pain he caused various animals, handicapped or chained so he could get a shot, and only killed for the camera. Fred Bear is the true sportsman, respecting his quarry and pitting his wits against it with no unfair advantages nd giving the the cleasnest death he could.
