"100 Days" is a short film about the 2008 flood in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and what
happened at Mercy Medical Center before, during and after the record crest. Hundreds
of staff and volunteers sandbagged against the rising flood waters, but the hospital
had to be evacuated June 13. All 176 patients were safely transported to other
facilities. After the flood, the hospital brought back services and programs in
phases and was fully operational in less than three weeks.
The film "100 Days" recently won a 2008 Silver Davey Award.
