I would suggest using a hole saw attachment on a drill if you plan on doing several. This is more accurate and faster.

Great suggestion! As with any project, I'd recommend testing first with the hole saw, drill, tile, and light combination you intend to use, to make sure you get exactly the right results. Different methods may work better in different situations, so the trick is to finding the best method for your materials and your particular installation.
