My Unusual Water Pump

This is an very unusual water pump that is made in england but works wonders for small liquid transfers that are small and easy like a electric dropper for things or for my homemade snow maker to inject color into the snow (it does not work anymore due to an overpressure in the mixing chamber) and we had a snow day today 1/12/11 due to 14" of snow

The principle is the same as with the bloodpumps in

the pumps on my large format printer work on the same principal but they are even smaller. very interesting video.

@67tr876 blood pumps cannot pass air into their outlets,because then that air would be pumped into you too or through you.also a blood pump must work on a constant steady pressure,not like the machine in the video.

You get them in Aircon units and yes they are called Peristaltic pumps.
