Arvel Bird is part Paiute and part Scottish -- that's why he came up with Celtic PowWow. Joaquin, the percussionist, was someone One Nation met while performing in Spearfish. I was sad to see that they have split. Arvel Bird decided he wanted to concentrate on writing music, and left the band - all members still perform - just not together.

Performed by Arvel Bird, the violinist/flutist, and One Nation. One Nation has since split up. The drummer, Eagle, and the guitarist, Vlasis, used to play with Brule who just did a performance last year that will be televised on PBS. Chris, the keyboardist co-wrote with Arvel Bird on his successful Animal totems Series.
