  • @sunzoo1 I can colour traditionally but this is what I was asked to do FYI. I've been doing this back in the days before comps with markers, so I've paid my dues pal.

  • Education, around $75,000

This tutorial, more than 25-30% of that so...around $20,000 for free!!

Thank you ImagineFX and thank you Omar Dogan!

  • Sorry...what Software did you use to rec this video?

    Awesome work!

  • I used to colour manga scans. ._. I know how tedious it is to clean/separate things. I need more patience. LOL.

  • props for using a pc bro! hahaha

  • Omar Dogan is the baddest man alive.

  • Omar Dogan is amazing.

  • are you using a mouse or a tablet? either way, impressive :)

  • Hi!, the question is directly to Omar.. you say that in the process of colouring is better separating the characters from the Background.. I understand that this is painful.. but I need a recommendation.. I wonder if you heard about the Wacom Inkling this device help to draw on the paper and separate everything in Layers, so while you draw you can separate the character from the background.

Do you think using this new thing can help to do the colouring less painful?

    thanks!

  • Actually, more than half of this part of the tutorial can be avoided if you ink digitally. All you need to do is ink the characters on one layer and the bg on another layer. This avoids the tedious whiteout process. But I guess traditional inking might be more comfortable, and this is definitely useful for those mixed media artists out there.
