I keep the Shabbat as much as possible. It is an ancient tradition. It is to be shared with friends, in honour of our love for God. Give thanks. Amen.
Shabbat Shalom!

  • Yeah well, it's nice you like the Shabat but still... rules apply here. It's so much more than an "ancient tradition"; one of the ten commandments to begin with.

Don't want to bother you too much

    Nice hala and shabbat shalom

  • It's no bother. nice to hear what you think.

  • you shouldn't be operating a video camera during shabbat...

  • Oh that's true. According to certain rules from certain rabbis.

BTW, do you watch any youtube on shabbat? What do you think of any use of electricity or engines on shabbat?

  • No that's wrong! You are breaking the rules of shabbat by using electronic equipment. Don't proudly post these things when you are offending other Jews.

  • Well you shouldn't turn it on or off. We don't know if it was on when shabbat came. The word states if it was off you shouldn't turn it on, if it has been on you shouldn't turn it off. Such as the fire in the temple burning for EIGHT days before they could get more oil ( * Chanukah) it says eight days, so it went on throught shabbat as a kindled fire.

  • I have a question,

i was looking at this video couple of times to understand something.

    can you please answer my question;

In shabat u can't use electricity, why does he use the camera?

  • or in Hebrew בתאבון

  • I think this rule does NOT apply nowadays..

It was not to light any fire, which was -once- an effort, but today as easy as cake~

anyway, nice family you've got there!

  • i think it's really great that you keep the tradition, really, but u no ur not supossed to use electronic devises on shabbat

  • Thanks for the lesson.

  • its pronounced bete'avon. :P
