have you ever had to pay for a paint job for a mini? if so, how much did you pay?

@asal111111 Depends how healthy the engines are really, it's hard to compare. I can't remember really as I had this car a fair while back, but I don't think it struggled with power on the twisties in comparison to a stock 1275.

I always love the 998 Mini's easy engine to live with..that's a nice power level..and it's purple!

great i have also a good vid of my mini in rolling road.great look!

the 1275cc might have more power but ive found the 998cc to be alot more reliable plus with the right work you can put out the same hp as a stock 1275

hi im thinking about getting a littel 998cc for my 17th and i was wondering with a stage one is it pretty quick or would u recomend a stage 2-3 kit or just a biger serise of engine ???

For your first car I would stay with the smaller 998cc engine due to insurance prices. Stage one does give noticable gains over standard, but only if it has been set up on a dyno properly.
