@jstoecker53 The truth is, with or without faith, a seceded SC will become a failed state. I mean, what does it have to offer? Nothing.

The religious right is failing in the States... just look at all the hypocritical Republican politicians campaigning for family values and getting busted for extramarital affairs. Republicans are losing seats everywhere. South Carolina is a backwards state. California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, and most western states do not follow their example. Same goes with the east coast and midwest. The bible belt's always been a thorn in our side; they'll be dealt with soon enough ;->

I hear you! In Denmark at the last election there was only one party that openly said their values had roots in religion... And now.. hey are "gone"..
Religion - Politics Is scary in any amount.

"That was scarey It's the COMPLETE Opposite in Europe"
i'm so glad it's like that, if we were like Europe we woudl be depending on a country taht produces 1/3 of scientific advancement and our economy would rely on one over seas. Lol, Europe needs USA for it's economy, i an conclude that from what we are doing is right and you guys are doing bad. =p
That was scarey It's the COMPLETE Opposite in Europe!!!!
If Religion was once mentioned by a candidate In Ireland the public would automatically think of them as backward and pay no attention to them.
