@armandobaires my trainer is teaching me to turn your hips into the jab and cross, if you push forward as you punch and miss, you are likely to lose balance and get hit real easy.

@DJMOCRO07 For a jab?? if you turn your hips for that might as well tell your opponent what you're gonna do next... jab's power comes from forward movement, not a hip twist.

You start training in a gym and if you are good the coach will ask if you want to take part in a tornament and you decide if you go or not. No one is forcing you to take part.
