What a lovely video, so inspirational. Never tried before, I'm making a puppet theatre for my son's birthday, got the frame on cardboard and papier mache (water-PVA mixture with newspaper). I've read you need to prime it with emulsion or varnish, not sure what to use. Any advise?

@sirlordwhitman
Hello there. I put on a "skin" of cloth (old bed sheets torn into strips) dipped in white glue (like Elmer's). If you are interested in the techniques, check out my site, GourmetPaperMache (dot com) or my blog, PaperMacheBlog (dot com). Take care

I like how you use the cat as a starter template ;)
Great work! I just ordered your book from Amazon, excited to try out your techniques. I'm also teaching myself how to make fleece and foam puppets and am going to try and combine the two mediums... I'll let you know how it works out. Thanks for the inspiration!
