Ew. Real human hair. My Mello wig was like thirty bucks. But it went down to my butt, and I chopped it up. .3.
But I refuse to do real hair.
And for the burn, try liquid latex and bronzer. It looks real and it's cheaper than you'd think. C:

@Apocoplyptic Ha ha my friend kept petting my wig all day because it was so soft. xD I really like the real hair.
I'll definitely keep in mind what you said about the burn. Thanks for the tip!

I went to MTAC as Mello, people were asking what happened to my face, it looks extremely real. I got mine from a halloween/costume shop, try finding one~

@Apocoplyptic Ha, after the hair's been stripped and bleached, lice is the last thing I'd worry about. I'll definitely look into your method of burning. :p

Hey! Hope you had fun yesteday. how well did the con go for you? Hope it was okay. Im cosplaying as Mello at the J-CON in the UK. Just one adise, the wig does look styled like mello's, but mello has a golden colour, or an abuorn, (when i can spell it..) hair colour. Thought that would work better next time you go to a con! Oh & The scar needs to be darker, but it was pretty awsome, Thanks for uploading this, gave me LOTS of ideas!! x

@AngelsThatCryTears Thanks so much, it was awesome! xD I know Mello's hair should be a bit darker but all things considered I think this is the best I'm likely to find until I'm rich and can just custom order whatever I want. :p I'm so glad I helped you. I'm hoping to put together a slide show from Fanaticon soon. I had a blast and even met a Light and a Misa there!
