I'm playing this for my sister's wedding, it's not so bad, Carnival of Venice is worse and even that's not too bad

Just listened to the 50+ recordings of this piece by various orchestra on Spotify. There's not a single recording where the trumpets do what the soprano does here. It's a shame really. There are so many tasteless covers and versions of all sorts of different songs and pieces, I was sure there would be a similarly insane 'take' on the end of La Rejounissance...
Alas...
