Taryns POV
I snuggled slightly more into joe's arms a small smile on my face. The door opened and I turned around to look over nick walked in and sat on his bunk which was opposite the one me and Joe were lying on.
“You alright ?” I asked he looked up to me and nodded
“I think I might have upset Emma”
“how ?”
“I told her I didn't know if I was in love with her”
“and you only think you upset her ?! She loves you and you said you don't know if you feel the same”
“well I wasn't going to lie to her by saying I did”
“You don't have to love someone to go out with them”
“But she loves me it would be unfair if”
“bollocks.. Most of the time love isn't something that happens when you first see someone. You can think it is but it's just an attraction to really love someone you have to know them. To know all there flaws and not care. You don't start a relationship in love, you work on the relationship and slowly fall in love your always falling in love. Just because your not fully there yet doesn't mean you'll never be”
“Did you love joe.. When you first met” I let out a laugh
“no way! I thought he was arrogant, annoying and generally a bit of a nosey prick. We argued constantly even if I opened up to him half the time I wanted to smash his face in. But he was always there for me, even when I didn't want him to be he would sit there with me and talk to me. He cared, I didn't know why, I guess it's just because he's a great guy. Then when I wanted to kill him less I started playing more attention to him and started to like him....of course it helps when the only other guys around are druggies or something” Nick did a small snort of laughter
“so do you think me and Emma should be together?”
“I don't know, you two together are adorable and you seemed to get on really well. But if you have second thought about her and seriously think you two wont work out..don't get her hopes up she does really like you and even if she hates me at the moment I still think of her as my best friend.” he did a little nod and we sat in silence for a few seconds before Joe let out a snore and we both burst out laughing. I slowly crawled out from joe's arms and stood up smoothing down my know slightly crinkled clothes.
“i'm gunna take Jedi for another walk. Do you mind watching Ruby?”
“Sure” I went to walk out then looked to him
“thank you..again. I know this is going to be hard for you knowing the truth and everything”
“it's fineTaryn, im just happy that you two are going to be okay” I smiled and walked out of the bunk room.

Emma's POV
I walked out of the bathroom and saw Taryn about to leave with Jedi.
“where are you going?”
“Just taking Jedi for a walk..Do you want to come?” She asked awkwardly
“No...Why don't you ask nick to do it. Seems like you really love doing stuff together” She sighed and walked out of the door. Ruby started crying and nick quickly walked out of the bunk room. Stopping when he saw me.
“hi” he said awkwardly I did a small nod. “joe's asleep and tayrn just went out”
“i know I saw her...do you have a point or are you just pointing it out”
“Do you want to help me take care of Ruby until-”
“I was actually going to join Taryn on the walk. I was just getting my shoes”
“oh..okay” I quickly grabbed some shoes and slipped them on before leaving the bus.
