Bottle feeding kitten (6 days old)

An updated feeding video of the kitten we rescued last weekend. He's doing good and has been making up for lost food! (When he was first brought to us at 2 days old he was severely undernourished). His eyes and ears are getting ready to open.

Very cute video. Two months ago I took in abandoned 2 week old kittens. They were severely dehydrated and lethargic. They were too scared of the kitten bottle so I improvised w/ a syringe WITHOUT the needle. Worked better but took more time. Now they're healthy (one had infected wound) and running all over my house. :0)

@Donrage9 Well you're an idiot. You NEVER give a cat cow's milk, they're lactose intolerant. Look on ANY site and you'll see that.

2 days ago i found 2 strays who's mom abandoned them and took them home with me they were meowing alot and i have never owned a cat before so i brought some cow milk and tried to feed them but they didnt suck on the nipple stuck on the syringe instead they kept sucking on my hand and waiting for milk to come out but they eventually drank the milk is it bad to give them milk they are either 10 days or younger cant walk yet but their eyes are open

Need more milk in a bottle!!... you didn't do good to do that !...I fed a puppy myself after the mom dog died.... it is almost 2 years old now......

If kitty is too small or weak to suck from the kitty bottle, try using a new, clean, soft, small paintbrush (like for arts & crafts). Dip the brush in the kitty formula, then let kitty suck it or paint milk on its lips to be licked off. Buy a multi-pack of brushes & experiment to find the best one.

*tires again* Yup. They absolutely refuse to eat. They're about the same age as this one.

I found a couple strays next door and I got the milk replacement and everything but they are giving trouble latching on to the bottle. They'll just chew on it with the side of their mouth and I'm not sure they are getting enough that they need.
