If I remember correctly, this was done with the Jazzbox position 3, which is modelled after a 1957 Gibson ES-175. A friend showed me this little progression a long time ago.

  • @pworam68 LOL!!

  • What is the chord progression that you are playing?

sounds, really, nice...maj and minor 7th add 9ths?

  • @iversonmatthew you said they are virtual, I said no they aren't, shortly, in 2 lines. And you prompted for a detailed response.

  • @mtsn I said they were in the bridge.. I wasn't trying to get into a long winded explanation of them.

  • @iversonmatthew You should have called them by their names considering that the piclkups do physically exist and aren't virtual. In your computer you are using a virtual IMAGE of the Variax. If you're using the Workbench (and not everyone is), you're doing it "virtually" (I'm using the term very loosely). But in the actual guitar, they are physical components, piezo pickups. $12 each.

  • @mtsn Well on my computer I can move them anywhere and change what types they are.. I would say that IS virtual. And didn't I say they were in the bridge? I guess I could have called them by their name.

  • @pworam68 a Variax definitely deserves more respect.

  • @iversonmatthew no they aren't "virtual" pickups. They are just a different kind of pickups, called piezos.

  • @paperclips91 - Hi, I'm Breck 9. I'm a recording artist. There are subtle elements of Jazz, in my original songs...which R a mix of:

Spacey Ambient Rock / New Wave / Neo Soul

I would suggest that you give my following songs a listen...for they, incorporate many Jazz / Neo Soul aspects into a modern Rock / New Wave structure:

    The Bright Nights

    Sparkle She Glows

After all...music, as a language is universal irregardless of style
