I love songs that express a powerful message. This is one of those songs. This song is about a man who is married and begins to drink for his own comfort. As in the lyrics, his wife tells him, "You can't have two loves in your life." Due to his constant drinking, he and his wife are involved in a car accident, which takes the life of his wife. He now lives with the pain of losing his wife and starts on a road to sobriety.

These type of songs can really make you think back and reflect on your own life. I think it is neat how sometimes it takes just a song to make you realize what changes you have to make in your own life.

  • I love Martina McBride. Did u by chance ever catch her on crossroads. They pair up country and rock--She was paired w/ Pat Benatar. She hit ever note of Pat's songs and I liked her voice better than Pat's. People will never understand the saying "DO NOT DRINK & DRIVE" its a shame people don't value ones life when it comes 2 DUI, road rage, speeding or tailgating--my heart aches everytime I c a cross on the side of the road representing a life lost.

  • Thank you Laura for coming by. Stay tuned as Enrique and I put our voices together to bring everyone a song about the power of faith in difficult moments. We are singing "On My Knees" by Jaci Velasquez in English as well as in Spanish.
