@iwassunkist regionals are a year ahaed because that year changes midway through the season

@iwassunkist they call it the regionals of the next year...so like this october it was 2011 regionals...i think it might be because nationals is in january of the next year.

@iwassunkist because the 2009 regionals are the regionals for the 2009 nationals which are january 2009
so this year the regionals are for 2011

@iwassunkist that's when regionals are always held so that nationals are held in january so that worlds are held in march. Regionals are always held the year before.
