Two totally different sounds. All her records had their own distinct sound and feel.

She puts such incredible images in your head with just a few heartfelt words. "Dark with darker moods is he/not a golden prince whose come/ through columbines and wizardry/to talk of castles in the sun" sung slow over those dark and broody arpeggios, you can see him on his golden horse, stood against the setting sun in full, flowing heraldry - from her imagination 40 years ago straight into mine. Incredible.

What a amazing voice and what a talent. Roses dipped in sealing wax. Trying to keep the past with you and a love you lost. I found someone to love today. Says it all this song takes me back to when I was 14 so young and full of hope

When I heard this album as a teenager my life immediately changed. Joni brought contemplation into my life as well as romance -- my heart was just starting to be stirred by exotic, exciting romance. I will always love her, especially this album.
