he must be very consistent in his landings - every time stressing the keel at the exact same point! haha.. Well, better to break your keel than your neck, and it was a textbook landing. Hopefully he's not afraid to flare now

The wing wasn't hurt, just that section of the keel.
Normally that part doesn't touch the ground hard enough to cause any damage.
As part of the glider it serves like a kickstand when sitting on the ground
