Auto racing will never end.

Men will always build machines and race against each other. As for the idea that this is the first fatality, that is an inaccurate statement. This is the first fatality in IRL since 2006.

I just looked at a list of fatalities in the IRL and this is the first one that has ever happened in a race.

This race should have never happened. There wasn't a single driver in the field that thought this was a good idea because they all thought that its like Talladega or Daytona but for IndyCar which could result in any sort of NASCAR style wrecks that happen often in their sport. They knew this had the potential to be a crazy bloodbath but they went along with it anyway even after driver protests. It was just a matter of time until something like this happened

i.,m ordinary racing fan but u can ask a well recognized driver like jackie stewart..nigel mansell or even a 18 year old teen fan..this race was looking for danger no matter what..whats going on we on 2011..and still money rules..over safety..dam humanity..humans beings..like animals..ruling sports..maybe ..in a100 years..will recognize this..wtf..going on..wake up

Always remember, you control the machine up to 80 kmh after that, you belongs to machine, it drives you.. Sad But true.

R.I.P DAN!to all the racer fans...i don´t watch indy race ... but i´m passioned for motogp and formula 1 !!! i know how bad u guys feel for this drama !!! today is mysecond day after that wicked sunday in malaysia...yesterday dies super SIC #58 i feel like i lost a familymember!!!i´m so sorry for the family´s ofthese great racersandfirst of all great human beeings,that gave us pure adrenaline! Rest in peace dan and sic ! :'(...fast like a thunder is but unfortunately like a thunder past away !
