@robdirienzo all of the NBC O&O station websites are filled with gossip/rumors/useless information. What happened to getting reliable news, weather, and sports online? Why they thought the websites would work great has fooled me.

You know, they should replace the secondary scroll with the suburbs names' and cities, just to get that old N4NY feel back like they've almost always done (the previous 2009 version AND mid 90's, 80's...), but other than that, it's way better.

@CyberFHS Sorta... I mean the first time I heard it it sounded a little awkward cause the announcer says "An Ann Curry" making it sound weird
-
@nintendogmaster same brah, same.
are you used to "Matt Lauer and Ann Curry" yet?
-
@Mac4FSU What area do you live in? (For ex. DC area, Clevland are, Denver area, etc)
-
Lol, im so used to the today show open saying "Live from stuido 1A in rockerfeller plaza" and when it said "7E" it ounds funny
-
I love this open. We don't even have an NBC affiliate here. ABC, CBS, CW, MyNetworkTV, etc, but no NBC.
-
just realized, the opening is no longer a station id block. the WNBC New York id is no longer under the logo.
-
that's an awesome open!

@azara95062 I like the new approach and changes so far. Don't stop quite yet.
@robdirienzo no kidding! WMAQ in Chicago is really struggling. WBBM has pulled even with WMAQ, a huge deal considering WBBM has had difficulty drawing viewers. The changes that the NBC O&Os have made have taken away from the quality of the news and respect for the stations. Such a shame.

At first I felt bad for them at the end of studio 6B in the "We're 4 NY" stage, but from there they just went downhill. They deserve to be #4 behind the spanish channel in the ratings!
-
They are running all 10 local stations into the ground! Not to mention belittling the legendary statuses of Scarborough and Simmons.
I hope they do an open like this for Today in New York and news 4 at 6. This just fits them!!!!
