  • WHEEZY WAITER!

  • Where the hell does this guy keep appearing from?

  • @bigboulderDK Although there is really no way to compare directly, it is often said (widely, not scientifically :P) that we see around an FPS comparable to 72. Most games also don't have motion blur, and I actually try to enable it even on games where I'm lowering settings to make frames blend together better; thereby reducing the "low fps" effect, often noticeably.

Some will say that you can't distinguish a difference over 30, but they don't know what they're talking about :P

  • so really we have created eyes that work better than the human eyes

  • Hey vsauce! Can you tell me why I can see stutter or 'lag' in video games when they're running at a steady 30 fps? It only looks fluid around 40 fps.

  • I must say, sir, your intelligence amazes me. Keep the videos coming. Thanks.

  • How... how could he not mention a fan. When fans speed up at one point they look like they are standing still.. and then appear to be going backwards... the fan blades sync up with our eyes (they stand still).. and then they it gets out of sync in such a way that we start to see the fan blades right before we did previously... thus it appears to be moving backwards.

  • 2:58 Kissing Brain

  • @VideoFromJake Hmm... good point I don't know :s

  • @andyynwa94 I'd assume it's something along the lines of your brain having to process too much information at once. I was wondering why your brain doesn't add motion blur to images on a TV, why is it different?
