One of the Great, great drummers of rock'n'roll.Along w/ Lowell George, he will be sorely missed.

Comparing drummers is complicated at best. But subjectively, after having started playing back in 1964, if I could could have BEEN any other rock drummer, it would have been Richie. "Feel" plus massive techinique. There are so many great drummers. But Richie was my favorite. Love you, brother.

This guy was without out a doubt the best ROCK drummer who ever lived. Absolutely the best. Sorry Bonham, Neil Pert, Jeff Pocoro, Charlie Watts, this guy blew all your doors off. RIP Richie.
