@TheSierrakid ; If you know anything about wild animal "management", (in the wild that is) the first law is survival of the fittest and not all can stay in good shape. The weaker ones will be thinned out in this natural way of population control....which by the way I think beats living the rest of their lives in prisions and zoo like settings. If I were a wild horse I would rather take my chances at starving to death in freedom than dying of old age somewheres in captivity.

It looks to me like the horses are trying to get away from the doofus in the corral, not the videographer standing quietly outside the fence.

She's been injured, her problem is not lack of food.
They are such awesome animals this is so hard to watch.

It reminds me of a equine concentration camp . Leave these poor horses where they belong .... roaming free !!!

Of course... after they terrified and ran them almost to death, causing abortions, maimed foals, and other injuries and fatalities, BLM contractors are so non-caring and cold-hearted, all they do is cause more stress and pain to the horses. I weep thru these videos ... the senseless suffering, destroyed families, and deaths cause by BLM, and they DON'T CARE. It's all about money in their pockets (paid by tax dollars). Makes me so mad I could just SPIT!

These are domestic horses, and this isn't their "natural habitat". The climate is very different from 13k years ago when actual wild horses lived here; it's much drier in the Great Basin, and the entire ecosystem has changed vastly. Like any livestock, horses and cattle need to be actively managed to prevent them from making it uninhabitable for native species, because the land just isn't adapted to large grazers. There may be better ways to manage them, but it's necessary to do something.

I say if there are so many willing to help with these horses why not show it by over riding the cattle owners by simply paying to go see horses in there natural habitat so it still brings in money for the greedy bastards but also keeps these horses alive and healthy because they wont just give up there money so maybe the best way to deal with this is making a outdoor safari of wild horses and burros in there natural habitat?

@theWolfQueen13 No,her leg was not broken. She couldnt get up because she was so weak from not eating, shes starving to death. Most of the horse in there are . The BLM is NOT helping the herds by culling them. They are doing this to get rid of them so the land can be used for cattle grazing and oil drilling. Kill OUR Horses for GREED!!!!!!

@wildhorserescue THIS IS NOT A WILD HORSE RESCUE! THIS IS KILLING THE HORSES BY STRESS, CAUSING LIVER DAMAGE AND STARVATION FROM THE STRESS OF A FREE LIFE TO THIS HORROR, SHAME ON BLM AND THOSE INVOLVED IN THIS BARBARIC HORROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im not sure if im correct or not but judging by the angle the downed mares back left is @ & the fact she isnt putting an weight on that leg im assuming her leg was broken correct? If so why the hell didnt they put out her out of her misery right away? Honestly some people are so clueless and they end up hurting the helpless innocent animals. I am SO ashamed to be human when I see vids like this!
NOTE: the man who goes into the pen is not harassing the downed mare, he was merely trying to get some food near to her.
