60 hours jesus i beat it in 9 in my first playthough this is considerd sort for an rpg by most people but still a great game ps. i liked your review but you seemed to rush like u were nervous or somthing

I was reading from a script for the first time and I never heard the play back until editing. Also, the 60 hour thing was my own experience playing this game when I was 7 years old, s of course it had to take forever.

@MrWLangers You were incorrect in saying there is nothing to do outside the main quest: exploration of dungeons outside of the storyline, collecting rare weapons, djinn are not essential parts of the storyline but aid you by providing upgraded items or stats a la legend of Zelda. You said it takes 60 hours, i'd say you pulled that figure out of the air as it is quite a short game in comparison to most rpgs, and takes 10-12 hours max. Your opinion is irrelevant, try and find an interesting angle.

what the fuck is this guy going on about, i beat the fusion and doom dragon without using offensive psynergy weapons, Armour and the like are a massive part. Customization of class, and stats can be achieved by switching or setting djinn in battle or in the field, or by use of items. Didn't you say it followed the style of most rpgs, and yet you complain about the random battles which are a staple of the genre. The "Gladiator" mode as you so aptly put it is an optional multiplayer game.

The music in this game is spectacular, especially the venus lighthouse =)
