@Macaframa1 uh, as one who has seen various mountain ranges in various countries... I have to ask how are the geological features in one part of the world "cooler" than others? Colorado is fantastic without a doubt, but what could possibly be wrong with the Torngats? And why would you say crappy tent? I am positive they are good tents. Or are you saying that all tents are crappy? In which case, you've never experienced RMNP in any way. lol Thanks for coming out Jethro.

MUST VISIT PLACE. I wouldn't want to die without visiting there. 200$/night with meals isn't bad. Beautiful place! If you're going to complain about the price, just leave it, but you guys are going to miss the best experience! I lived in the Torngat for a month this summer. Nothing beats it!!!! Now I call it my HOMELAND!

200 dollars a night to stay in a tent?....pass.
All of you complain about the price, yet I don't know if you realize that this park is remote as fuck. It's not like other national parks, there aren't any facilities within the park beyond a base camp. Everything gets into that park by plane, making it harder to bring in supplies and people. I'd pay $200 to go visit this place. Of course it'd be nice if the park was a bit more developed so the price could drop, but that doesn't deter me or others to visit it.
