you should all ways use hearing protection that still let you hear people around you . i have a brotherin law that got his leg broke in to places because he could not hear his partner about the top of the tree that he was cut top broke out of it .

Boot laces have been left too long.They could and will eventually trip you up during tree felling operations,by catching in sticks and briars etc.
