Anatolian turks of Turkey are not related to the asian Turks, they are pretty much turkified europeans. Their closest relative geneticaly are the Greeks. The asian Turkish genes that are left from the past are extremely low and whats left of the present day Turkey is mixed of many different races that are mostly the Anatolians who shares extremely similar Genes of the present day Greeks.

Once a powerful empire, the Byzantines were defeated and scattered around Eastern and Central Europe, today they are split into three groups the Turkish, Greek and Italian people. They have all transformed into different cultures, religions and symbols...They even had wars with eachother, and now Turkish and Greek part of the Ancient Bryzantine Empire hates eachother...

you know there is a theory saying that by the time about 2 million turks conquered the byzantine empire(which had a population of about 20 million greeks) in 1453a.c. the turks started to get mixed with the greeks and a bit with armenians and kurds .So in that way turkish DNA disappeared because the greek DNA in the west side of turkey and the armenian and kurdish DNA in the east side of turkey surpassed the turkish DNA (20million greeks>2million turks)doesn't it make sense?

Nothing against Turks and Turkey,nice people!As a traveler i have been in many country's and have to say that Turks are nothing like Greeks.look Completely different and behave different also.Greeks are very similar with Italians,based on what i have seen.
