James Mellors Space Roller - Loughborough 2008

At one point this was the one and only mighty mondial topscan traveling in the uk, but was sold back to switzerland in 2009 (showing signs of wear and with hydraulic problems!) and replaced with 2 Mondial giant wheels that are used for corporate events in the uk and europe (1 x 50m & 1x 60m)
Edward and James Jnr Mellors had a fantastic skill as operators of the Space Roller.... Something that the current traveling topscan does not have!

Conkland (sp?) amusments: who used to set up the calgary stampede only brought this ride to town once, i rode it as much as i could that year. im just refinding this ride online now and this was the first tripple axis ride i went on and havent been on a better one since. id love to get the chance to ride it again.

I can relate Mellor to Kroon of Netherland. First he toured many rides a few years back now just one, Fun Factory.

well its been 5 months since they sold Space Roller and nothing as of yet but he is only touring one ride this season: magic mouse.

I'm guessing they are putting in an order for a KMG - Inversion, but you know mellors they never go for brand new rides lol.
