It's impossible not to love Irulan, Chani, and Aliah for their different strengths. Chani and Aliah have the appeal of those who are attracted to the WarriorPriestess types. Irulan for the intellectual prowness. I never did like the fact Paul rubs out his sister, since she had no say in what she became. Her forced sacrifice is the only reason he had what he did. Irulan is a bit more vicious in the book, and it is difficult to forgive her for the contraceptives and plotting against Paul.
