Awsome dog. How did you trained him to use the sidewalk ?

@dgkm83 thats tricky. i have a small dog that doesnt learn the same but. with the dobe...when walking him offleash, i would walk on the street and he would start on the sidewalk. whenever he started to come to the street i would say sidewalk...but i would say this loud to kind of startle him back to the sidewalk. then i would say good boy but keep him on the sidewalk...go to him. then go back to the street and repeat. :)

I completely forgot my mother trained one of our dogs to do this. He passed on a while back but this brought back great memories. It was funny because when you would come out the shops he would absolutely hate it if you had all the bags. He just had to have a bag to hold! He even trained himself to go meet the postman at the gate (fair way from the house) at the right time and pick up the mail. The postman was only too pleased lol. Dogs like to be useful XD
