Americans were given a bad name long before I commented on Joplin. Killing off and isolating Indians; SLAVERY; decades of subsequent persecution of blacks... Jim Crow... etc; using our CIA to overthrow our friend Mossadeq, the democratically elected, western friendly President of Iran in '53-'54, which sparked the Islamic uprisings to come, leading to 9-11; comparable involvement with our CIA all over Central and South America; Bush; Palin; on and on it goes.

If you want to thank a God for anything... thank it for finally getting this off the nightly news programs. Yes, initially it was the sitcom that it is. Yet, nightly re-runs do tend to get OLD.

Thank you fake God... for taking this out of circulation! Since many of these southern types no longer have TV... perhaps you could also take WWE/WWF off the air, and replace it with decent documentaries. Or something a bit more, shall we say, less "inbred". America would appreciate it. Ramen.
