Broken Promises
INTRO: Nick and Nicole have been best friends for 2 years and 3 months ago they started dating. Nicole is at the Jonas House in Nicks room with Nick. He had some news for her. {AN They r both currently 12}
Nicole- *Sitting Indian style on Nick's bed* So....
Nick- *Sits down next to her* Um... well you know that we've opened for other bands at small event. {AN: By 'we' he meant him and his bros}
Nicole- Yea...
Nick- Well we kinda got signed.
Nicole-*smiles* That's great! Nick I don't know why you seem to take it as bad news.
Nick- But it is. It means I have to move to LA. Away from you.
Nicole- *teasing* Nick its called technology. You know cells, texting, IMing, so on and so forth.
Nick- Whats that supposed to mean?
Nicole-*lets out a breath* It means Use it.
Nick- Well we could use that but we wont see each other. It could be a while before we see each other again.
Nicole- Then I'll wait. There's no problem in that
Nick-*sighs* Ok
Nicole-*looks down at her hands* But promise me something....
Nick- Anything
Nicole- You wont fall for someone else or ever forget me
Nick- *lifts her head with his two fingers*I promise
Nicole-*smiles* Good. So when are you leaving?
Nick- 5 days.*sarcastically* As you can see I already started packing. *Use his had to show around his room which looked completely the same.*
Nicole-*Laughs* Come on lets get started.
*They packed for those 5 days. Now they are lying on Nick's floor in his empty room*
Nick-Wow.
Nicole- Huh?
Nick- I mean 'wow' I am really leaving.
Nicole-*that's when it hit her. He's really leaving* Yea
Nick- *Looks at her* Hey something wrong?
Nicole-*Looking at the ceiling and has tears in her eyes. She's trying so hard to keep them back* I guess it all just now hit me. You're going to be gone... maybe forever.
Nick- Puts his head on his hand so he's laying on his elbow..* Not forever.... Just a while.
Nicole-*looks at him* Nick *Her eyes start to water* I'll miss you.
Nick-*Sits up* Come here *She comes and sits on his lap. He encloses her into a tight hug.* I'll miss you too. But please remember...*pulls her out of the hug to look at her* I'll never leave or forget you. I love you
Nicole-*looks back at him* I love you too
Nick-*Smiles, leans in, and kisses her*
*After at least 30 sec Nicole pulls away*
Nicole-*lays her head on his chest* I don't want you to leave
Nick-*kisses the top of her head and lays his head on hers* I don't want to leave ethier.
*Abot 10 min of just sitting there Nicole fell asleep*
Nick-*Feels Nicole go limp*Nicole? *looks down and sees that she's asleep**He laughs a little*
*He lays down with Nicole still sleeping on his chest. He didn't want to leave her. He loved her with all his heart, she knew that,but he needed to go if he wanted to follow his dream. He laid there with her for a while until Joe, one of bros, walked in*
Joe-Hey Nick*looks at Nicole and back at Nick* Im sorry but we have to leave. *He walks away*
Nick-*carefully slides from underneath her. He lays her on the floor and takes of his jacket folds it up and put it under head for a pillow. He kissed her on the forehead* Goodbye *Knowing Nicole would wake up soon he left her there and walked down stairs and shut there door.*
*Right when the door shut, Nicole woke up, laid there for a sec and realized what was going on. She jumped up and ran out side. But that one sec she laid on the floor had cost her. They were already at the end of the street. She walked back to the porch steps and cried. Then she realized that Nick had left his jacket. She ran inside and up stairs. He left his favorite leather jacket for her to keep. She picked it up and held on to the only thing she had left of Nick besides the memories. Out of nowhere she felt warmth on her face. She woke up*
Nicole- Ugh. That freakin dream again
*Nicole has had the dream flash back for 2 years or lets just say ever since she stopped talking to Nick. Its currently 3 years after Nick left. And you know what I'll just hand the narrating over to Nicole*
NICOLE'S POV:
*I woke up, from that dream again, to the sun shining on my face. I flipped on the TV to watch E! News. The first thing that popped up on the screen was no other than the Jonas Brothers, Kevin, Nick and Joe's band. They've grown up since the last time I saw them. Well at least Kevin and Joe did. Nick on the other hand just had thicker hair but still looked the same. Well I picked today to begin my story. Friday June 13, 2008. Ha what do ya know Friday the 13th.
