The roaring sound at 1:10 is him steaming the water? Thats my guess and makes heaps of sense to get it up around the boiling point. Was the temp of the water checked after it was steamed? I know the coffee might have been responding well to these sorts of temperatures, but I'm just curious here. Maybe too much water at the bloom stage. By pouring in the middle will coffee be missed out, or brewed less, on the sides? Over and under extraction... just saying; Everyone does it different
@winforwon - I usually don't check temp just before pouring... I like to let the water settle for a moment after I've brought it to a boil. The grounds should fully saturate and extract with the pour I did on the video. I've modified my method slightly to try and take that into account. I'll try to post some more videos... maybe a chemex and some espresso too.
I love that the video is focused on the technique with no instructional talking, just chill music and ambient sound. Very relaxing and satisfying to watch.

Great video highlighting the techniques of making pour over coffee.
I also really like the bar that holds the holders and cups below. Is this something you made or purchased? If so from where or how did you make it?

@calehman7 Thanks! The bar is hand crafted by a customer of ours. We sell a single and double at the shop,
