One thing I discovered that makes the RockStar even cooler is that it works both ways! You can take up to 5 audio sources and merge them together for output to a set of speakers or into a mic/line-in port on a device.

Now I notice it's a simple silver plated plug, but I have seen it pictured with a short green cord and a long one... Is it possible to take off the small green cord and use a higher quality gold or copper plated male to male audio plug?

with most of the splitters ive had, at leat one of the headphones/speakers wont make any sound while its plugged in. does this one do it too?
