In this 2002 interview, Barbara is unexpectedly surprised with a clip of her son who had died only 8 months earlier. After seeing the clip she is overwhelmed with emotion. He was her only child.

WORST INTERVIEWER I HAVE EVER WITNESSED. NO INTELLECT NO AESTHETIC FEEL FOR HIS WORK AND COMPLETE MORAN. BARBARA EDEN IS SUCH A TALENTED AND PROFESSIONAL ACTRESS. THIS GUY SHOULDNT EVEN BE IN THE SAME ROOM WITH HER LET ALONE TALK WITH MS. EDEN. THIS GUY NEEDS TO FIND A NEW LINE OF WORK. POOR INTERVIEWER. NO SKILLS AT HIS CRAFT.

Really disappointed in Gibson talking about this subject with Miss Eden. I am sure that if he didn't do research on her, someone on his staff did and knew what would happen. The least he could have done, if he had a heart, was to stop tape and continue when she was composed. Of course, he shouldn't have brought up the subject in the first place. Hope he slept well that night...NOT.
