Hope these can be enjoyed before ABKCO yanks my efforts again.

To ABKCO and/or Stones management: It's obvious I have a lot of bootlegs from the 1972 and 1973 tours. Maybe more than you? You just, you know, let me know if you want any help bringing this great unheard music to the light of day instead of, you know, having YouTube pull all this great music.

  • @MrInfiniteSadness Lots of people care. This version of Gimme Shelter is with Mick Taylor on lead guitar. Subsequent versions are no where near as good. I've listend to the song and do enjoy it. That's the point of my comment. Just how good the song is. If you hear them do the song in later years it doesn't compare.

  • Taylor was outstanding!

  • 3 immense versions of this immense hit :

1- This (these 2) Philadelphia 1972 (superlative duo : angel Mike Taylor + master Keith Richards)

2- Virginia (Norfolk) 1972 ( unfortunately betrayed by the recording quality)

3- The original album version with the dream voice of Merry Clayton and unique Keith's intro.

and many great others, especially in the 1969-1973 period (Brussels 1973, London1973...)

  • @juscurious amen brother.

  • I will never forgive myself for passing on a chance to see Taylor solo at a hundred seat venue in Tampa in about 89.

  • holy crap.... is there ever good.

  • I have the Brussels bootleg and I must admit this version is even better...Taylor is incredible, words fail me...where can I get a copy of these shows?

  • On country stuff, Taylor was only moderately good and Keith's style would have fit a bit better, but on straight up rock like this, Mick Taylor was beast.

  • Who got my phi specilal, was my best stone lp.?.... te encotrare y entonces....you´ll see dios me pone los pelos de punta creo ke es el mejor solo de la historia del rock al igual kel symp.. d get ya yas out
