A whimsical look back while comparing the NBC hit action series "Knight Rider" (starring Baltimore born David Hasselhoff) with Knight Riders of a different calling. The latter group was less chivalrous, less technically advanced and generally held in much lesser regard. Plus, some other bullsh*t thrown in for good measure!

  • So new cast member Peter Parros as "RC3", Reginald Cornelius III gets to be in the final scene of series, bookending his first appearance in season premiere with Pamela Susan Shoop as Marta Simmons. Assessing his bike’s disjointed “malfunction”, RC strokes the shock absorber. It looks like he has a touch of vitiliago just above the elbow, below the bulging bicep, when Devon exclaims “Great Scott” and looks down at the “impressive”...mess. But probably not since Paross has gone shirtless since

  • So new cast member Peter Parros as 'RC3', Reginald Cornelius III gets to be in the final scene of series, bookending his first appearance in season 4 premiere, “Knight of the Juggernaut” with Pamela Susan Shoop as Marta Simmons. Patricia McPherson as KITT technician Bonnie Barstow probably would have been in the last scene if producers didn’t feel reasonably sure of a fifth season renewal. Old-timers(40 & up) see RC and think of Royal Crown Cola. Unrelated: bottler McPherson at 1330 Stancell

Patricia McPherson as KITT technician Bonnie Barstow probably would have been in the last scene if producers didn’t feel reasonably sure of a fifth season renewal. And surely, KITT, the gimmick hook of the series, would have had a line or two. Maybe even the last word

  • The URL for this video ends: v=btyNJBOcVVo The bt in "bty" could evoke "twobit bigot" themes, while the NJBO could remind that Cory Booker is the mayor of Newark, NEW JERSEY's largest city, and that BO became the White House dog at the 2009 start of the Obama administration. President Obama threw out the ceremonial first pitch to ALbert Pujols at the 2009 MLB All Star Game (BASTILLE DAY). Pujols' birthplace, SANTO DOMINGO, the capital of the DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, is bisected by the oZama River

  • Seen in the video: FURNifold McLENDel Simmons (b. JAN. 20, 1854; d. APR. 30, 1940). He was a Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from 1887 to 1889 and U.S. senator from the state of North Carolina between 1901 and 1931. He's unrelated to: Wendi McLENDon-Covey (b. OCT 10, 1969) is an American actress and comedienne. She is best known for her role as Deputy Clementine Johnson on the Comedy Central series Reno 911!. Wendi McLENDon-Covey: unrelated 2 fast food's Wendy's

  • In the spirit of full disclosure: MLB pitcher Jon RAUCH turned 4 the day after KNIGHT RIDER premiered on 09/26/82. However, it's interesting to note that actress PATriCIA McPherSON was born on the day Philippine opposition leader Benigno Servillano "Ninoy" Aquino, Jr. turned 22 (multiple of red flag 11). KNIGHT RIDER theme composer Stu PHILLIPS (b. 9/09/29) is not the philiPPines, just as PATriCIA McPherSON is not RHODE ISLAND, the Central Intelligence Agency or Scottish Rites pissing on her son

  • In the television series KNIGHT RIDER, Patricia McPHERSON (seen in video) was Dr. BONNie BARstow, KITT's mechanic in seasons 1 & 3-4. The role was filled in season 2 by Rebecca HOLDen, who played APRIL CURTIS, fitting nicely with "uncles & aunts with something to lose from your success in life" themes. Surname HOLDen is unrelated 2 the "HOLDing vs. Carrying" theme or HOLDen Temps at 1001 HAMilTON (how much do U weigh for $10?) N 27870. MLB pitcher Jon RAUCH was 3 when KNIGHT RIDER premiered

  • Unrelated: Sequential URL endings at Yahoo Sports for Major League Baseball players Ben SHEETS (6618 SP Milwaukee BREWers--b. 7/18/78 in Baton Rouge); ALbert Pujols (6619 1B St. Louis CARDinals--b. 1/16/80 in SANTO DOMINGO); Jon RAUCH (6620 RP Arizona Diamondbacks--b. 9/27/78). Of course, the 66 start of 6618, 6619, 6620 is one off from the 666 Mark of the Beast found in the New Testament's Book of Revelation (13:18). Surname SHEETS could evoke the WHITE SHEET associated with the Ku Klux Klan

  • There's no relation between TV exec. Jack O'HARA & NC congressman JAMES O'HARA despite the fact that JAMES was a BLACK member of the U.S. House during Reconstruction AND VERNon IBARHIM Robinson is a BLACK politician from WINSTON-SALEM, NC.

O'HARA was elected chairman of the board of commissioners for HALIFAX County, NC (1872-1876), but it's unrelated to Jack O'HARA dying 2 days b4 the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta, which saw Egypt's IBRAHIM win wrestling gold

  • The video shows North Carolina U.S. Rep. & Senator FURNIfold McLendEL Simmons, which is unrelated to home FURNITURE. Interestingly, Simmons died April 30, 1940, one year to the day before U.S. Rep. Alonzo Dillard Folger (D-NC) died after a Mt. Airy, NC car crash. Folger had been elected to the 76th & 77th congress in 1938 & 1940. Simmons was preceded in NC's 2nd congressional district by JAMES edWARD O'HARA, who is unrelated to TV executive Jack O"HARA, killed in TWA 800 crash on July 17, 1996
