I agree, it's funny how people are threatened by Wayne, and talk shit. Whether you beat Wayne back then or not, he is still more of a man than you, and would keep getting back up

@LarryB999 How is that nation faring, btw? Your measure of the last conservative pres only counts to you. So ultra-conservative is tough & cool to you. Ok fine. But if 100 were asked, most would agree on the general def between conservatives and libs, and if you still think Iraq and the 'graveyard of empires' were good moves, there's no talking to you...especially about my original point of 'only liberals fighting limited wars.' neither side has any monopoly on right action.

@LarryB999 He started the Iraq war right? Never heard anyone say that. Was it sending POwell to the UN to lie...was that the right action you speak of? Making a tacit consistent connection between Hussein and 911 that never existed? Maybe it was those WMD he kept trying to scare people with that you mean, or the chemical weapons. Started it right? There was no reason, good or bad, to enter Iraq. No moral authority and no spoils of war. We stunk as nation-builders or as imperialists.

@triarii11 Bush started out the Iraq war right but then decided to nation build. Same thing in Afganistan. By my measure, the last conservative president was Reagan. Before that you have to go back to Coolige. Having a D or R has only limited correlation with Conservative or Liberal. True conservatives believe in limited government. Both Bushes, Nixon, Ford , and Ike were moderates moving left at a slower pace but still moving left.

@triarii11 Au contraire my confused liberal dupe, liberals (or progressives.... same thing!) are the very definition of "Factional thinking." Dissent from the Constitution of the United States of America and of the moral authority of the Church are what defines liberalism, progressivism, etc. Read the historical record about the colossal failure of so-called "forward thinking" under the broader term "liberalism." Read, understand, and learn your history before you make an ass out of yourself!

@lifeisgood0 I agree. My generation has been massively hypocritical.  They touted all these values (which were decent and solid) and as soon as we all got educated and jobs, we just sold those ideals down the river. Don't solve a damn thing...just get in line. Just my view, but I note the same four or five major issues I heard in the 70s are still talked about the exact same way, and pot's still illegal. I think the Penn Sate coverup is a perfect example of my gen's bad vibe.
